I just don't see the criminal nature in him from the whole "Mike Tyson" thing in his corner to his pre-fight presser with BJS where he just seemed like a nice guy lost in the language barrier.
Amir Khan has been freed of his marriage with Faryal, he is now free to skype who he wants when he wants. Nice of you to show concern for AK.
How come his "White privilege" did not keep him out of prison? I thought that is how things are supposed to work over here? At least that is the narrative I keep hearing, over and over.
He's Georgian - they're as 'white' as Turks - not properly. White privilege is a big thing for those actually in Northern Europe, Western Europe, America and Australia. Even there, Eastern Europeans in the bulk aren't looked at with respect but rather second class citizens as they are not socialised properly in those countries and take the worst jobs - to make it worse, they don't perform well in schooling either so the next generation hasn't been doing enough to get out of the prejudice - they're white, but they're not given that same privilege.
McGregor boxing at 160 could happen, if Miguel Cotto -- who seemingly only wants soft touches and gimme fights at this stage of his career -- calls out McGregor to fight at 160. And Michael Nunn, as far as I'm aware, is still in prison due to an undercover drugs bust that went down in 2002. He is expected to be paroled in 2019. Nunn will be 56 by the time he gets released, so don't expect him to resume his in-ring career. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Nunn
@Oneirokritis - Cotto is a world class pugilist. McGregor is not. As for Nunn, you are the 2nd poster in this thread to give me the down low on what he's up to. I don't know if it is british humour or it could be I/it simply isn't funny but rest assured I knew about Nunn's circumstances, his being imprisoned was the reason I brought him up (to gently mock the op).
