Not the worst fight ever, but a great deal less compelling than what preceded it. Just a couple of lumbering slabs of 200lb meat grinding together and trading slow & smothered uppercuts or circling and pawing at each other with jabs.

Can't tell if the ref is just supremely lazy, or doesn't actually know that excessive clinching & mauling are illegal.

Davit Chaloyan vs. Vitaly Viktorovich Kudukhov, 8 rounds @ heavyweight

 

Chaloyan is a rockstar domestically - he was the flag bearer for Armenia in last year's Paris Olympics. (where he lost to Spaniard and silver medalist Ayoub Ghadfa in the men's 92+kg quarterfinals)

Kudukhov might seem a daunting pro debut for somebody of lesser pedigree but really, p4p, this is far more of a gimme than Abdukakharov was.
