On positive note well done to kickett for having a go outside of Australia , lets hope he will have learned something from this fight and will use the experience to futher his career .

On the negetive side his " Vera " does sound ropey .

Apparently Kickett had a good rd 2 and Broner hadn't looked too hot until rds 5 and 6.

    Broners speed was the difference.

Bad luck to Willie and good on him for fighting o/s. Unfortunately that's another Aussie prospect down the drain when the comp gets harder overseas.

Im not of the opinion that Willie is totally finished just because he had two brutal losses.

I want the oldschool take it on the chin attitude to losses to come back..Where you just take a loss in stride and get back on the horse..You try and learn from it..In this day in age to much is put into guys with padded, unbeaten records that look nice...He is still very young and has time to learn..A lot of athletic talent to work with, give him experience and the skill set that goes with it and he can still be a world class boxer down the road.

the sad reality is that he has not been up to the challenge. Broner may have a future, but I thought maybe willie would have done better than this. i was expecting a loss on points, not through a KO.
For a bloke so feted, his chin must be something of a concern now. Good luck to him in the future, he certainly has no shortage of admirers on this forum, but maybe the hype of Wille is a little too much.
I don't imagine fighting o/s is easy but it gives greater kudos to those who have successfully fought out of their comfort zone.
It would be good to get some footage of the fight and see how he was going prior to round 6. I'm with Whatarock - the guy has potential, but for the time being, he has not risen to the occasion.

I hear people talk about his athletic talent but i've never seen it, is it because he's aboriginal people assume this? He looks to have average speed and poor power for his weight division.

Never thought it was to hard to sport.

He is fluid, quick on his feet and his handspeed is pretty good...despite what you say.

Im not sure what power has to do with athleticism. Been plenty of fluid, athletically gifted fighters who werent big punchers.

I think his speed is good....maybe broner is just quicker....GBP dont sign many chumps.

Maybe willie needs to work on defence a bit more....he looked great and looked very fast against Elomar....until he got KTFO.

It's hard to come back after 2 knock outs, look at Anton Solopov he was like a wrecking ball until his first knock out, then aftre it he was tentative as and seeme dto hold back his aggression thinking he may get starched again, and then being tentative he was KOed again and then retired after it with his confidence shot.

Fighting on the big stage is a confidence sport once that is takin away there's no money or desire in domestic low profile fights so they don't carry on.....unless your a certain boxer that stil makes money fightin nobodies for no legacy.

Seems like Zappa is the last man standing...Ive always been a fan of his but thought he may be heading for an early hiccup with his style.

    Gostellow, Kickett, The Elomars...all stumbled.

But Lenny keeps on chugging on with ever increasing impressiveness.
