Is this a possible sleeper upset? Dimaond struggled a bit with Jaregui and Huerta and DeMaro is an unknown with some stoppage wins.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone seen DeMaro?

I've always liked Diamond. Kid comes to fight. Never seen Demaro, so I can't comment.

DeMarco is going to take this one and it should not be an upset.

I didn't see either one, was just going off the scores. What happened to KD? Is he shot?

Diamond is pretty good value..Good style to enjoy whether he is winning or losing.

But its pretty obvious by now he is very beatable and not even by guys who are world class.

Demarco should win a close decision ... but it could well be a late stopage for kid Diamond...

He is just very flawed..but he has enough technical skills learnt from his amatuer career and power to keep him winning.

Huerta beat him very clearly and was close to stopping him late..that fight was not really even that close.

Havent seen his one against Jauregui but from reports he was getting dealt with until Javier got tired.

Flawed, yes, but aggressive and effective at times. I thought he beat Casamayor, a world class fighter. He dominated Emanuel Augustus, largely with the jab. Wish I knew more about DeMaro.

I've seen DeMarco a few times on Shobox and I don't remember being too impressed by him. I think Diamond still has enough to beat him. I never saw the Juaregui fight but Huerta definitely deserved the decision when he fought Diamond. This fight looks like it might be halfway decent and I'd take Diamond by decision.

Highly questionable and suspicious decision. One of the most lopsided decision I ever seen. Kid Diamond owes Huerta a well deserved rematch.

Huerta was indeed robbed against Kid Diamond. But Diamond vs. Jarageui was too close a fight to scream robbery. I had Kid Diamond winning that one, just as I had him edging out Casamayor close.

Anywho, I've seen Demarco a handful of times on Shobox. He is a pretty tall southpaw with moderate skill and power, generally in exciting fights. Though the last time I saw him, he didn't look so great against Jose Reyes. Either way, I think the two match up nice stylistically and should produce a good action fight.

Not necessarily shot, but just gets nailed a lot. The Jaregui fight could have gone either way, but the Huerta fight was a flat out robbery that Huerta dominated.

I think Diamond was let out of his contract with Top Rank recently. If that's the case, then he's probably a little less likely to have the judges on his side. Also, DeMarco is with Shaw, who's putting on this card. I hate that you need to think like that sometimes, but it could be a factor. Shaw is gambling that DeMarco is ready for the step up, and I don't think it would be an upset at all for him to win.
