He's fighting this Friday on channel 5 http://youtu.be/wsNadMzvL1E I remember watching his 4th pro fight on a under card can't remember which one ,And the commentators where claiming he was already good enough to win British and Euro lvl titles, I'm not trying to hype him up just wondering what others think of him as a prospect ??

He's fighting Jazza Dickens, another big prospect, for the British title this Saturday. I'm hoping Jazza does him over, not really sold on Galahad and he comes across as a bit of a tit. I've only seen one of them fight live, seen Dickens on the Hatton/Senchenko bill last year. Met him after and he's a sound land, really lives and breathes the sport. Billy Nelson on the other hand, Ricky Burns trainer, he's seen Galahad a few times and watched him spar.. really really rates him, actually rates him higher than Frampton and Quigg.
I rate him very highly, probably the best British pure boxer at the moment imo. Highly skilled & mobile what Barry doesn't get credit for is his physical strength, don't be surprised when Dickens gets manhandled in close on Saturday night. He also hits harder than you might think, I saw his last fight live & its definitely more impressive live than on tv.
I dont rate him his defense is terrible throws looping hooks he too open a good counter puncher will floor him
He is also early days... For his point of development I think he exhibits very fine skills. Just no pop, that is the main concern. ...though I'm hearing that it has been steadily improving. Punchers are born yet can be made to an extent.
U can tell in a fighters early days if hes going to be great. This guy aint gina be great another over hyped britsh european level fighter.
i think he has a lot of potential. he's a really smooth boxer with a lot of skill. his power isn't all that, but he is sitting down on his shots a bit more now. he's also looking more comfortable in the ring than he used to. all in all, he's a good solid fighter. whether he becomes a genuine champ remains to be seen though. his fight on Sat should tell us a lot more about him. it's a solid test for both guys, so who ever wins will have a solid win on their record.
