Warrington's promoter has been around a long time and him paying Galahad that was crucial. We might never know whether Warrington got his million dollars but even if Galahad did get more than him the older promoter has kept him his title. I thought Barry would get to Warrington late and stop him but was proved wrong. Well done to Warrington and his old man for getting Josh in fantastic shape. Sept 1992: Wharton v O'Toole at Elland Road - ring a bell to anyone?
Does anyone think the result would’ve been different if it was a matchroom card? I’m not sure. I think if Barry walked in as champion he would’ve kept his title.
Galahad would more than likely have kept the title if it was his and on a match room card but kg has been a pro for 10 years and this was his first half descent opponent. You’ve gotta snatch that’s belt when your chance comes along he didn’t do enough
I just don't see a case for Galahad winning the fight. Yes he made it difficult for Warrington and made him miss a fair bit, but he didn't throw anywhere near enough to get the nod imo. It's almost as if he was fighting to survive.
See how O'Hagan left when he saw Dom coming after slagging the pair off behind their backs. Poor form.
A Matchroom fighter on a mismatchroom card gets the nod 95% of times whether they win or lose in the ring - ask Raymundo Beltran or Delfine Persoon
No surprise. O'Hagan has shown poor form throughout the build-up. Notice how Manners follows him out like an apprentice Sumo wrestler ready with his toilet paper.
Fewer for sure...the JW fanboys would be saying he didn’t do enough to take the title from the champ though...
