There is zero case to be made for Palomino here. The Keed was two levels above, and the styles also favor The Keed. Gavilan, by VERY commanding UD.
An entertaining but disparate battle. Carlos doesn't have the Boxing of Graham, the off-beat toughness of Bratton or the power of Robinson. This would be a fight where Gavilan adjusts quite early for a commanding victory. No disrespect to Palomino, a quality world class fighter, but Gavilan was a legend who could back it up.
