Two sentences by PowerPuncher = Two calamitous errors worthy of ridicule. 1 - Which of the Hurtado or McGirt fights were at lightweight?? 2 - If you didn't see Whitaker having fun with McGirt, then you obviously haven't seen the second McGirt fight. A thorough, thorough schooling in every way possible.
I can't see a 160lb version of Mayweather having such tough close fights with Graham/McCallum or getting sparked in 1 by Nunn (using my resizing machine). Other than more varied skills, Mayweather is physically superior to Kalambay
BOLD: And yes he would, neither would he even fight fighters of that ability anyway. Nunn was a complete anomaly, you know that PP:good
LEts ignore the fights that don't suit our agendas aye. Whitaker didn't fight too many quick guys at LW other than Roger Mayweather, who put him down, good win but note Roger's trainer said he never trained.
Well he did commit a cardinal sin in the Nunn fight. As for not stepping in the ring with him, its documented up until Delahoya fight he was chasing big names who didnt want to fight him. He may not have fought all the best but he has fought some of them over many divisions. How you rate those names is up to you Who are you picking in next Mays fight of the century? I better get some work done
I wouldn't say Floyd would get clowned by these sorts of guys. Yes he will probably lose, but to say he would get clowned is a bit of an insult to his skillset, ring intelligence and particularly his adaptability.
Teeto, I meant in their respective divisions. For example, Lopez is one of the better technicians at straw/light fly. Personally, I can't say the same for Floyd at any of his 'best' weights :good Too much strength in numbers.
Tommy, I ain't too bug on those attributes, not against the level of opposition we're talking about :good ONLY IMO!!!!
I get that, he's not one of the top tier all time in many divisions, you won't catch me claiming he is. Basically what TommyV said is what i meant, i didn't want to go off on any tangent, which did happen.:good
