Rock obviously fought alot of WW in his time. Rock was also a small MW so let's say they agree to 152 lbs. Two guys that really liked to mix it up. What's your take both at their best over 15 with Smoger as ref.

Gavilán outboxes him, more versatile, Graziano was predictable and 1 dimensional, it’d be a Pacquiao vs Margarito situation.

Really bad matchup for Graziano, Gavilan had a chin of solid steel. The times Graziano does finally break through with a pushing effort arent going to be enough. Gavilan UD.

I'm gonna go with Rocky Graziano by stoppage. He was limited but he was also relentless. His right hand was no myth. Against a Welterweight albeit a great one he gonna be a threat all the way.
Another Welterweight champion learned that first hand. Marty Servo wanted a payday and got one without risking his title. He also got his nose smashed and steamrolled in 2 rounds by the Dead End Kid. We also saw Rocky put Robinson down in a short explosive fight.

Gavilan by clear decision. Rocky was tough but The Kid was too plus he had better skills, more speed and superior defense to Graziano.
