Rewatch the fight moron. Hatton didnt land, you cant get roughed up when a fighter doesnt hit you. After five what did each fighter look like? Hatton was basically exhausted with a bigass gash on his eye, and Floyd was basically fine with no marks on his face. How the **** is that getting roughed up? I explained how Floyd won those rounds, he would catch Hatton flush with 3 or 4 straight rights every round, this would negate any non-effective grabbing or holding Hatton did for the first half of the fight. Floyd actuallly mauled Hatton with his elbow, Hatton never really got close enough to rough Floyd up. Took floyd off his game lol!!! Thats exactly how Floyd said the fight would go moron.

You are a just a coke head loser that needs to get a grip on boxing. Because honestly you might be the only Floyd hater that thinks he got roughed up in that fight lol.

did hatton win the inside battle against floyd:rofl

I am glad you admitted hatton didn't land ****:deal

floyd won 9-1 because he was outlanding hatton in every round

you were the one to admit that hatton didn't land any effective punches. this is boxing to be effective you have to land effective punches:deal if floyd was not getting hit what was he "taking" from hatton:deal

It was very innefective pressure, and do you really think Floyd was surprised by anything that Hatton did? PBF was well prepared and handled it as good as possible

Hatton weighed 154 (what he weighs on fight night as a Jr WW)

    Floyd weighed 148

Hatton has no excuses for weight.

I don't give a **** if he had foreseen the future and knew that was the exact outcome of every round, the fact is, he was not impressive at all in the first 5 rounds or so, and was the defensive fighter, getting pressured and allowing Hatton to work his game. Whether or not it bothered him is irrelevant, Floyd didn't do much in return in some of those rounds, therefore I gave some to Hatton. Either way, I had Floyd winning by a good margin by the time the fight was stopped. But for the first 5 or 6 rounds it was close.

That's the thing, someone like Jones didn't. I know Floyd breaks down his opponents, but the fact is, he had to go through 6 rounds of adapting before gaining the clear upperhand in the matchup. Of course he's gonna land more accurately and Hatton's punches aren't as clean, but he was by no means dominating the fight up until the later rounds of the fight. Feeling him out, wearing him down or not, it took a while for him to catch his full stride in that fight. Jones dismantled you from the get-go. Whitaker dismantled you from the get-go. That's why these guys are the true P4P kings of recent times.

    :rofl

This is either a perfect example of someone losing the plot, or one of the very best examples of sarcasm that I've seen in quite some time. I will assume the latter, just because I'm nice like that.

Gavilan to win a very, very close decision.

His speed is not as good as Roy's; his accuracy is good; Roy was a far better counter puncher to the point where people would be afraid to throw punch's because he would hit them with such hard counters; his defence is not as good as Pea's i.e Pea was harder to hit and he is not as smart as Roy or Pea used to be because it takes him a number of rounds to adapt where as Roy and Pea could do it very very quickly.

If Floyd Mayweather had one punch KO power he would be the most amazing specimen ever....If Floyd were at 130...135 or 140...hed be KOING people like Roy was...but Floyd is fighting two classes away from where he should be.

You try to sound like you know about boxing but that right there shows your true colors. Floyd was breaking him down early. Landing body shots wrestling. If a fighter mauled Roy like Hatton mauled Floyd he would NOT be able to do what he does with ease. That is bull****. You can look at the RUIZ fight for that. When RUIZ even looked like he was going to touch roy or grab him Jay Nady jumped in immediately and gave a warning. Hatton came forward with NO OFFENSE attentions but was clearly trying to buy time and survive. He was NOT punching in the clinch or trying to fight on the inside. HE WAS ONLY WRESTLING. Kind of hard to box a wrestler.

If a fighter like Hatton tryed to maul prime Roy he would have gotten knocked out cold early because he has such poor defence :good
