Come on Amsterdam...don't be shy, tell us what you really think:lol:

In all honesty, this will be an absolute disgrace if he fights De La Hoya again. And even more of a disgrace if he never fights a true, worthy welterweight title holder.

Hey Amsterdam, how is Joe's opposition better than Floyd's? Kessler? That is it. Arguably better than anyone Floyd's beaten in head to head terms(arguably), but aside from that, Floyd's resume and accomplishments clearly hold the lead.

That's because his timing was so far beyond everyone elses, he had Kostya Tszyu level timing with his natural speed on top of it, could land a right at any angle.

Roy abused a limited HW in Ruiz easier than Floyd abused a joke of a 'p4p ranked' limited smaller guy in Hatton.

It certainly would. No more excuses about Cotto. At least fight Williams or something.

I don't know about this one. Hatton didn't give Floyd much trouble, he lost all but 1 round, landed maybe 3 good shots the entire fight and was knocked out. Chavez, landed a few good shots, but he ate a ton of shots himself, won 2 rounds, and was stopped in the 9th.(Floyd didn't eat for 4 days prior to this fight just to make weight) De La Hoya gave Floyd some trouble. He was able to stop the straight right and lead left hooks from Floyd. However, his offense was way too ineffective. Castillo gave Floyd some genuine trouble, he doubled up on the jab alot, worked the body, showed some good counterpunching and head movement.

As far as Roy, I distinctly remember watching a ton of his fights on HBO, sometimes he just didn't impress; like he was just going through the motions. A good example of this is the first Griffin fight. Griffin was actually winning the early rounds, then Roy turned up the heat. Unfortunately, he turned it up too much. There were other fights such as Lou Del Valle and David Telesco where he won easily, but struggled more than you would have thought.

I'm not judging on resume, just the 'best', then I said hopefully he can cement it while Floyd loses to either Williams or Cotto.

Resume wise you can't justify Joe's over Floyd's obviously, but as you said, the win over Kessler is better than any win Floyd has on his record H2H.

Now, if he completed it with Dawson, and Floyd lost to Cotto or Williams or someone even lesser, then I think it would be clear who is the superior.

What qualifies someone as a Floyd Hater? What exactly has to be said? Does it matter if said poster makes statements in defense of PBF in other applicable situations?

Please, if Floyd were a natural MW, he'd get owned by Calzaghe. The ****er has all he can handle with Castillo and an old DLH and feasts on slower, latin-brawler types with ineffective pressure for the most part save for a Judah here and there.

Cotto will ****ing eat him for lunch at Welter, ending this nonsense trip from Floyd fans.

    Hatton, Baldomir, Corrales, Castillo ----

Man, a versatile bunch of technical masterminds there that can change stylistic approaches midway in the fight.:yep

A common thing with all of them is that they all are horrible against slick counter punchers stylistically, cooincidence?

He is also willing to take on the most worthy challengers WITHIN HIS OWN DIVISION. His Kessler right now at 147 is Cotto...he takes on Cotto and all the criticism ends.
