    a Peak 1943-46 lamotta is way too big and strong and too much of a workhorse for gavilan. bad matchup. look what happened when gavilan took on bobo olsen.

    size is too much. gavilan was a small welterweight. lamotta was a huge middleweight

    LaMotta by wide ud. Kid cant hurt Jake, but vice versa can happen.

    Even when Gavilan moved up to fight Bobo Olson for the MW title, the Kid only weighed 155 lbs.
    LaMotta just too stong.
