Gavilan Is very fast and was very good at imposing his style at others,even stopping Walter Cartier who outweighed him a lot,with that so Gavilan blitzes his way to a TKO/UD
I often think about this match up. Both men had skills in abundance but I see Gavilan outworking Jose with his faster punch volume and scoring a distance win by around three or four points. Would be a great fight to watch.
I think Gavilan's jab & long range boxing skills give him the edge in a great technical matchup. also, Napoles' propensity for cuts/swelling could be a big factor vs. such a fast & precise puncher like Gavi.
