Surprised this lad has never been pushed more by Matchroom. Fairly entertaining to watch, good looking kid (marketable) and seems to take any challenge presented to him - Cheeseman, Souleymane Cissokho, JJ Metcalf and now Ammo Williams - all as the underdog. Wish more were like him.
Completely agree Always been impressed with him every time I've watched him and very much in the mix with the good domestic scene at 154. And like you say, he won't shy away from a fight.
If he can get the win against Williams away in America surely they can get him a shot at the European or something, seems like he’s had to take hard fights when the rest of the domestic 154 lads have had better opportunities.
Barely seen much of Ammo, figured if he's on Matchroom undercards he's probably just being built up against gimmes. How good is he really? Can Conway beat him?
Booker was 17-0 going into this fight, the last fight Williams had. Granted Booker was hardly a dangerous fighter with just 7 KO's on his record but the way Williams dealt with him was impressive. It might be style, as he doesn't hurt the opponent enough for me. and is a bit slick so needs a fun dance partner
yeah but many beat Fowler. He's just too slow, he has cement feet, and is chinny. Fowler will do well to win just a british title.
Familiar story last night - not busy enough and doesn’t really have the power to capitalise on his big moments.
Same with the fight he had on the Canelo v Saunders undercard... put Cissokho down then failed to step on it. Could do with a well known trainer as he has the tools but it’s just putting them all together.
