You don't know? You have eyes right? You "know" what to look at in terms of technique? You can apply knowledge to situations and make realistic theories with them?

Don't say "We" don't know. The fact of the matter is, it's you who doesn't know. Many of us have been watching him for many years now. He has the goods to stay atop the rankings. That doesn't mean he'l look like Ali versus everyone though.

a 147 shawn porter is better then anyone garcia fought in terms of a hard fight
yes garcia may have fought better "names" then porter but porter at 147 is a beast a 140 khan.morales/mattyse is nothing compared to a 147 ib welteweight in porter

I hope your kidding 140 Khan is a huge win especially at the time of the fight. morales wasn't a huge win, as he's well past his prime. The Mattyse win is huge, I don't know how you could think anything less. That was the fight fans wanted so much and when they got it they didn't like it so much. It's not garcias fault he always finds a way to win.

Yeah Garcia is more limited than he is flawed, his abilities are less recognizable versus guys like say Thurman who casuals would connect with more. Garcia's characteristics are harder to come by in my opinion because it contains a good balance of everything you "need" in a fighter and not necessarily weighted on everything you'd traditionally want in a fighter. That said, I'm not sold on Thurman simply outclassing Garcia here...Danny is cut from stubborn workhorse cloth, he's got power an awesome chin and grit I'd even go as far to say he's the most polished boxer Thurman has seen in terms of punch arsenal and accuracy.

The Khan fight was one Danny was getting schooled in until Khan exposed his glass chin as he often likes to do. I don't consider that a great win. Mattyse was his best win and also his last really good opponent. Since that time, he avoided the Lucas rematch, fought some really weak competition, been given some gift decisions, avoided all the big names calling him out for big fights, and started trying to compete with his dad for top **** talker. Not hard for fans of the sport to dislike the guy. But he has signed on for a great fight now, so he can start earning some credit back. Hopefully he doesn't go back to **** fights again for another 3+ years if he wins. Though I favor Thurman in this fight.

Absolutely. Garcia doesn't excel in any category, but he's technically adept in about all. I'm still not as sold on Thurman's boxing ability. It's not that he's underskilled, I just think he gets by more on his power, along with the 'eaverage' boxing ability. Garcia will certainly be a better skilled fighter than Porter, even if he doesn't have Porters strength.

Porter attempted to maul Keith and found some success because he jumped and closed the distance, Danny won't have to implement that sort of strategy because he can close the distance by cutting off the ring....he isn't the best ring cutter but he does have it in his arsenal. The other standout is Thurman will be facing his first natural counter puncher, sure Danny has been know to initiate exchanges but his real productivity comes from a quick counter attack. You may or may not agree but Danny's chin will play the biggest role here, if he can close the distance dig the body and land big shots while showing Keith he can take his best heat he will win this fight.

Garcia wins by late TKO in a way I can't rationalise.

Danny was dominated in a Floyd-Lara-RJJ-esque clowning for the first 6 rds vs Peterson, then beat down like one of Adonis Stevenson's biitches for the last 6 rds and he still won.

Thurman gonna have to put him to sleep to get a draw.

Morales looked like a couch potato by the time he'd fought Madaina ffs.....

Danny got a gift just getting Morales in the ring. Moreso than Provo getting Castillo.

As for Zab and Lucas....yeah, those were solid Ws, but Zab had Danny on qu33r St, and the ref allowed Danny to tee off on Lucas while he was tangled in the ropes, causing the KD, and essentially handing Gift Garcia the W.

    Gift vs Herrera.
And the worst robbery since Lewis Holyfield 1 when he got the gift vs Peterson, who dominated him every whcih way but loose.
