Kiko Martinez vs Carl Frampton II - September 6th, Belfast

Before we get too excited lets not forget that Kiko is a notoriously fickle guy and very hard to do business with, - remember he messed Carl about something terrible before finally comitting to their first fight. There is a LOT more at stake this time around. So I wouldnt be counting my chickens just yet.....just a word of caution....

 

McGuigan is pouring cold water on the prospect of this fight happening soon..he says it is just one of several fights they are trying to arrange...

Personally if I was managing Kiko wuld I voluntarily rematch my precious world title holder with a guy that has already ko'd him with one punch? No.

 

I'm in Magaluf for that date, will be the first Frampton fight I will have missed in years, gutted.

 

Relax - you can probably enjoy your hols safe in the knowledge that you are missing nothing (unfortunately).....gonna be very hard to get Kiko this time....
