Yeah i watched it from round 6 . It was close enough until kiko caught him with a big left . I think frampton and quigg beat him in tough fights .
missed the first five rounds which were supposed to be fairly even. from 6 to 12 for me there wasnt much in it though kiko should much improved defense and head movement.frampton will take him if the fight in the summer ud
Kiko traveled on car from south of spain to France on thursday. He claims his legs were bad from the beginning. I know for a fact it´s true he travelled like that, but you know, at the end is just an excuse. First to stop Dunne, Booth and Martyrosian, who never was dropped before. All of them with a left hook, right now he´s first in europe, no matter what u said. Yesterday was not his best fight, that´s true.
Kiko has improved a lot since his fight with Dunne and he has very good power, but I just think Frampton is a better version of him they have similar styles but it will be a good fight and definatley wont go the full 12 imo .
I like Frampton, he shows his amateur background in every fight, but Kiko have power in his both hands, and his left hook is very special, not Nonito kind of special, but I dont think a lot of fighters can take that punch many times in a fight. I would say Frampton-Martínez, Quigg-Martinez or Quigg-Frampton are almost world level fights, and none of them can take on Nonito-Rigo-Nishioka. SBW is a hard division right now.
Heard Kiko's defence was shite last night. Frampton way too clever for him i reckon. The good thing is that by winning by stoppage in Paris, it will give him the confidence anyway to come to Belfast in the summer.
Yeah, from what i've read Kiko just waded in disregarding defence. Frampton will still find it tough with Kiko, as limited as Martinez is, he is dangerous and relentless, but i would favor Frampton.
