Anything could happen. Daiz is the slight favourite. However talk of him exploding early in the fight could leave him open to a katsidis bomb.

I've been looking forward to this fight since it was made. i think it will be a good fight with both fighters bringing their "A" game. Although I think Kat will land some good shots, I believe Diaz will take the UD because of his punch volume and speed. He will try to overwhelm Kat like he has done to some of his previous opponents like Freitas and of of the other Diaz's. I definatly could run with a 115 -113 on all 3 cards with a Diaz win at the end of the day.:bbb :bbb :bbb

How was he tired when he was still turning it up in the rounds after that, KDing Casa in the 6th and became EVEN more aggressive by the 10th(which is the reason why he got KO'd)? :huh

This is a very close fight and one for the ages. But I'm picking a Katsidis KO here.

I'm sure this fight will be a classic slugathon that will be talking about for a while on here. I am already looking forward to all the times I'll be watching it down the road after it happens and with that said I expect Diaz to win convincingly. I am sure Katsidis will have his spots but I see him getting cut badly and being worn down to the point that he maybe gets TKO'ed, though I am leaning more towards a decision victory for Diaz.

I would say its more of a 60/40 fight in favor of Juan. After reading an interview of Juan by fightnews I'm abit concerned as Juan really doesnt agknowledge what a tough task this will be. It almost seems as if he's looking past Katsidis. The will and determination of Katsidis should never be taken lightly. I'm picking Juan to win by late stoppage due to cuts, however this will be nothing but blood and guts. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
After reading the interview I give Katsidis more of a chance than before

it is close..we can see how much diaz can take a punch in this one, but still i won't change my pick and i think diaz would win by TKO on cuts

Diaz throws too many punches, from too many angles (which can easily cause cuts)...and Katsidis cuts WAY too easily.

This fight is getting stopped on cuts.

    Diaz TKO mid rounds...

But MY GOD its gonna be fun to watch!!!!!!!

Whatever. Julio Diaz would kick Katsidis's ass. David Diaz might be a 50/50 fight. Katsidis won't be able to **** for weeks after fighting Juan Diaz.

Have to put Diaz as favourite in this fight. One loss does not make him a bad fighter plus Katsidis is very limited. Not sure who I want to win this one as both fighters are very likeable abd both have exciting styles. Think Baby Bull will have a little too much for Kat. Can never count out the puncher though. If it turns into a brawl then it becomes a 50/50 fight. Both are desperate for a win. Expect fireworks on the 6th.
