yes i agree he should have more fights than someone with alot of experience but he isgetting excellent coaching and is an experined fighter in some respects. A wrestler for instance might not be able to submit or strike when they first start mma.

Kimbo ko'es shamrock within 30 seconds. People put to much into mma its still a fight when it comes down to it. skilled streetfight. If i walk like one talks like one it is one.

    I don't care anymore.

If EliteXC is determined to prove that it's a joke - let em'.

If Kimbo wants to fight every ham & egger out there - let him.

If morons want to pay to see this crap - let them.

Kimbo fans are annoying but eventually they learn more and become normal fans. That fact makes him good for MMA in my opinion. It's Kimbo's sixth fight or so. He could fight a nobody but who would care. I'd like to see this fight. I am a fight fan, I will watch any combat sport and any match up.

Kimbo won't beat Ken on the ground and Ken won't beat Kimbo standing up. Yes Ken is old and has lost a lot lately but he is still a dangerous opponet for Kimbo.

Kimbo has been training for two years or so. Maybe three. This is not a walk in the park for him.

Have you ever seen what happens when a trained fighter fights another untrained fighter in the street?

Man if this was 1994 Kimbo would have some good wins, Tank, Shamrock, Mercer, oh but wait that was 14 years ago, nevermind.

Actually, Tank didn't step on the scene until '95 and Kimbo has yet to pull off a victory over Shamrock.

I'm just messing with you. Your point is valid.

Because he gets more coverage and hype than any fighter in MMA. If a traveller with a 3-0 record was the biggest name in boxing I'm sure you'd be on his case.

Just like your thread gloating over Greenberg losing to a 28-1 heavyweight today. "Im just glad the hype was firmly put to rest. I call it poetic justice!" Even though Greenberg has been hyped and protected, he never approached anything close to Kimbo's level. Kimbo is the epitome of the overhyped, overprotected fighter, completely avoiding anyone with a pulse. You defend his right to grab as much money as he can fighting cans while belittling another fighter for actually stepping up his level of competition. Don't be a hypocrite.
