Kimbo now fighting Ken Shamrock

This is exactly the problem with Kimbo. Just like Don King and the corrupt heads of the alphabet orgs realized in the 80's with boxing. You don't need excellent matchups with the top fighters facing off to make a ton of money. Just fake belts, hyped up images and washed up "name' opponents, because fight fans will put up with it and pay for it too. The one thing I really like about MMA is the unprotected records and the top guys all facing eachother, the way boxing used to be in it's glory days.

You could probably thank Gary Shaw for bringing that into EliteXC. He is a boxing promoter after all.

 

You call that being a hypocrite?!?! :roll: Greenberg is a PROFESSIONAL FIGHTER. KImbo doesnt even have a professional backrground much less the resume of a professional MMA fighter. He`s the product of a youtube generation and 19-35 year old demographic that has as much depth as a puddle and knows **** all about MMA other than the illusion that Kimbo can whup ass based on his Youtube vids. Now EliteXC caught onto that hype train allowed this guy to make money and guess what the CASUAL MMA fan caught on. If all MMA fans were like me Kimbo would still be beating up bums to make "bread". So you educate me again and tell me WHERE is the comparison between a seasoned pro like Greenberg and a YOUTUBE phenom like Kimbo..:roll:
