Obviously Floyd was wrong, because you couldn't take some guy of the street and make in successful in MMA.
yeah it also proves that a good chin in mma or k-1 dont always compute. ray sefo one of my fav kickboxers got sparked easily. kimbo can fight and will make some decent enough money for his efforts. but he isnt going far....but why should that stop him.
There are worst fighters out there than Kimbo Slice, thats a certainty. If he's matched just right, he could be as successful as Mark Gastineau or Ed Too Tall Jones, though their careers were against mediocre opposition. IMO, Kimbo's best shot would be to just proclaim himself the champion of the aged old forgotten London Prize Ring rules, and get someone with enough dough and sense to market a bare knuckle contest on ppv. Have the Joe Savage's of the world come out of the wood work, fight a tournament, and take on Slice in the final.
i thought he was gonna train Oscar if they had a 2nd fight? because they were hyping it on the countdown to de la hoya vs forbes i know the first time thats what he said but i thought he was gonna train him if they had a 2nd fight but the 2nd fight didnt happen and i assumed he fired him since he got Nacho Beristain to train him for Pacqiao and Floyd Sr. was training Hatton but he seemed upset about Oscar choosing Nacho thats just what i assumed
yeah funny moments of k-1 [yt]ba4vF0x09dg[/yt] sapp sounding like he was having an asthma attack as he was saying that kid dynamite comment. have to say tho he is a intimidatign guy and this fight is a classic...tho sadly in the same vein as dumas-strege [yt]S4bhx3uiEFM[/yt]
Do you think Kimbo could beat a guy like Zuri Lawrence? I don't. Zuri would have a shot to get that first KO on his record also against a Glass Jawed joke like Kimbo.
