Kimbo Slice is fighting Houston Alexander on the Ultimate Fighter Finale card this Saturday. At first glance - it seems like the UFC is really trying to help Kimbo by putting him in the ring with a fighter with very similar style. Both Kimbo and Houston love to punch - but Alexander is arguable the more powerful puncher. I think this may backfire on the UFC because Houston is having to come up from light heavyweight - giving Kimbo the size advantage - BUT Houston will have the speed advantage that comes from fighting lighter guys at the lower weight class. This can all add up to only one thing - Houston Alexander will TKO Kimbo Slice in round one. I'm sure this won't come as news to some of you - but to the rest it doesn't look good for Kimbo.
I also fancy Houston to take it. His 'power' is more proven then Kimbo's, but in these types of matches (2 sluggers) you never know. I liked the way Houston used the leg kicks in his lats fight, could be a useful tactic for him in this fight. Also I don't think the weight cutting will help Kimbo either.
Yup those leg kicks could mean something and look at Kimbo and Rampage discussing leg kicks on TUF, Kimbo really has no idea how to defend them and seems almost afraid of them.
depends on how the weight drain will affect Kimbo, as obsurd as this may sound, I think Kimbo is a little more rounded
houston loves to slug it out and we know kimbo is a street fighter. I don't see this lasting 3 rounds. Someone gonna get KTFO. I like kimbo if they stay standing but houston do have power to hurt him.
