With his size advantage, how would he do against welterweight Tommy Hearns and 165-175 pound Billy Conn?

Wait why is a mediocre mma fighter being compared to ATG boxers?

Conn and Hearns both outbox and KO when Kimbo is tired, or he gets disqualified by failing the drug test.

This. Conn and Hearns would easily destroy Kimbo. Kimbo has no business being match with elite boxers. Kimbo was very heavy handed, but his coordination, timing, and stamina were well under pro level. Kru Neil, who was a former Muy Thai pro and gym owner in my neighborhood used to have both Kimbo and Bas at his gym back in 2006-2007. One of Kru's 5'6" 156 lb amateurs was tearing Kimbo apart in the ring and that kid wouldn't rank anywhere near the top 10 as a pro boxer. Kru being an honest guy told Kimbo he should focus on 3 round exhibitions with very light competition and then try to get into movies in order to cash in on his name. Bas on the other hand being a showbiz guy (a BSer) was telling Kimbo he had elite fighting talent when he didn't and that he could be a boxing or mma champion. My friend (Big E) who also was a fighter (mma) at the time used to train along side Kimbo since his trainer used to co-train Kimbo along side Bas and even he had no problem holding his own with Kimbo in pure boxing sparring. In Mixed sparring he was easily taking Kimbo down and tapping him out.

I have very little doubt Conn would beat him, as well as Hearns at light heavy. Hearns at welterweight might be just at too big a weight disadvantage to overcome, despite the immense skill advantage.

Then again, Royce Gracie, UFC 1...

Oh, and if this doesn't convince you how big a difference skill advantage can make, nothing will. (Note: I seriously doubt that the young fit guy is a "profesional boxer" but the little fat guy who looks like Mario is Ernesto Bergamasco, a journeyman welterweight from the 70's.)

Kimbo would get destroyed by any world class boxer over 160lb.

Maybe even, as Jackomano said, by 154 guys.

Yeah he has huge power but he's there to be hit, is not particularly accurate and not particularly fast. His footwork by boxing standards is not exactly good. A guy like Hearns would not only make him look like a goof, but I fully expect Kimbo to get stopped about midway into the fight after taking a carpet bombing.

There are some MMA guys that may have hands good enough to take up boxing, but they're few and far between and Kimbo's not one of them.

Well at my previous job, someone seriously thought that Kimbo Slice could take Lennox Lewis

The common man also thinks that Bruce Lee can beat Muhammad Ali.

I don't think I'd be able to say that Kimbo Slice beats ANY heavyweight champion with a straight face

Kimbo slice was made famous knocking out crackheads in deserted car parks, and complete novices in the back gardens of welfare dependent single mothers. He never amounted to a professional boxer worth comparison on a classic boxing forum. He is a product of the celebrity of youtube viral videos.

His MMA appearances are of more interest than anything he ever did in boxing, but purely for the laughs.
