Yes - it was doubly lame. Now let's not get crazy and start putting words in each other's mouths because I never said anything about Kimbo doing well. I am disappointed in Roy's performance because I've been telling people for months that he should win this season and once this fight was announced - I've been proclaiming that he would defeat Kimbo. I'm just extremely disappointed in the manner in which he won. I don't think he did jiujitsu any justice. He should have made a statement with his victory over Kimbo by demolishing him or locking in a tight submission. Roy chose to do neither and won by laying on top of Kimbo.
Oh Dana is still milking this. This loss does nothing for Dana. In fact its the best case scenario, at least Kimbo lost to a great HW.
People who complain about the stoppage are really stupid. Kimbo was getting hit repeatedly for like a minute and did nothing to get out of that position. He was stuck there.
He's not some novice nobody knows about who has to prove a point or make a name for himself. If not for Kimbo Slice, they would have built the show around him. It's not his job to rep jits to the masses or make statements by bludgeoning Kimbo Slice. Just get in, get out and move on.
