No chin no balance no stamina no head movement jabs like a 12yr old girl......what's not to like. However I admit he would beat me up.
There were 3 people in that ring who didn't have a ****ing clue...The two fighters and the ref. Man...it's gonna be fun to watch Kimbo KTFO. CAN'T WAIT!!!
Well in that case he'd have to fight somebody better than anyone that Dentony Wilder's been in the ring with :yep
I dont know about anyone else, but that fight was 20-16 going into the third. Kimbo fell in each round from punches, not trips. And he wanted to fight Junior?? lol
I don't have anything against Kimbo acually. He brings alot of hype and if he acually gets to meet a half decent fighter it would only result in something good for boxing. Think about it, If he meets lets say Seth mitchell or a Jonathan banks somewhere in the future and gets knoced out. It will only bring more hype to the one beating him. This was acually a pretty entertaining fight. Another thing that is acually pretty funny. Think about it, Kimbo is a decent fighter no one here in this forum would probably beat him. Yet he is far away from lets say Banks, Mitchell, Thompson. That's the fun part. The general public think this divison is **** but they would still get their head torn apart from Slice.
He's dangerous for the first round and obviously has power but any half decent boxer would be able to exploit his poor technique and then take him out in the 3rd or 4th. His blocking is awful but he ducks punches quite well, has the worst jab ever but I did like the way he switched from head to body and his aggressiveness. He would be perfect for a Prizefighter tournament, surprised Eddie Hearn hasn't been in touch.
Ferguson would be worthless after the first 1 1/2 rounds of his first fight Prizefighter. It would be a massive failure and embarrassment for him and Shaw wouldn't let him within a 1000 miles of it.
I like Kimbo. He's a clubfighter but if you take his fights for what they are they're enjoyable. Al the best to him.
I echo the sentiments here. The guys never going to amount to much at world level. He is however, entertaining. Goes out and swings and goes for the KO. It cant all be tactical chess matches. Even if you like intelligent, well written thrillers, every once in a while you have to watch some brainless action movie, or something with Will Ferrell.
Lol, proud of Kimbo! He landed a rare bodyshot in the HW division. His right hand is a thing of beauty, aside from that sets it up very, very well along with uppercuts, BUT has almost no defense and if he can't ko a top fighter within 1-2 rounds he'll get brutally stopped or ko'd. He's got old man legs too.
