Kimbos the real deal, he should be able to use his superior punching technique to destroy Tank in short fashion, his power will be too much for Tank to handle early on.

I just looked it up too. It is listed as 10pm on regular Showtime. It does not say it's pay per view. Does anyone know anything? If it's on Showtime I know a place I can watch it. If it's pay per view I outta luck.

Kimbo Slice appears to be in great shape for this fight . Look at that arm. He is pretty ripped.

I'll say he's a real deal after he wins a decent fight and has at least a good 3 round fight.

From what I seen, his punching technique and power is better than 90% of the MMA fighters I seen. His hooks are thrown with good technique and power, I like how he sits down on alot of his shots, which should produce alot of KO's for Slice in the future.

It wouldnt surprise me if he was on HGH or something. I dont know if they test for steroids or not. They dont have a test for HGH now I believe.

What have you seen? Street fights against bums? Give me a break. EVERYone with SOME boxing technique will look good against a punching bag.

90% of MMA fighters you seen? That would be like 4? He hasn't shown **** yet.

Again, after he shows some good skills against a good opponent and shows that he has good conditioning then we can make a judgement. He hasn't beaten anyone except some bum. Good luck to him but right now it's all just hype.

I dont know what trainer he's acquired, but the man has come along way from his street fighting days. I'm not saying I'm an expert or anything, but I have trained in boxing for many years off and on, and judging by the way he throws his punches and the power he generates from them, someone has taught him well in such a short period of time.

I'm not saying he's unbeatable or anything, because no one is, but Kimbo possess a good punching technique that should see him through most of his fights, and maybe even to a title shot somewhere down the line. Kimbo already has the popularity, he just needs to now gain the credibility among the MMA fans.

You've seen him in training? That's the problem. You judge MMA fighters "boxing" skill by watching them do MMA, you cant do that. He's come a long way no doubt, but saying he has better boxing skill than 90% of all MMA fighters just judging him by glove punchin is ridiculous.

I'm not comparing him to a Tyson or a Jones, but by watching them hit the Heavybag or doing mitt work, it was clear that they were more skilled than there opposition, wether it be in speed, power, or overall technique. I agree, you must see them fight before you can judge how good they really are, all I'm saying is punching technique is alot better than most of the fighters I seen on UFC or any other orginazation for that matter. Time will tell how he matches up with a good grappler or submission artist, but when it comes to the fight being in the air, Kimbo has the advantage over most of his oppenents IMO.

Bas Rutten is training him no? He's got to have some skill for Bas to be training him.

I wouldnt call Mercer a bum. People said this also prior to the Mercer fight then the same people made excuses why Mercer didnt kill him like they said he would.

Mercer was well past his prime when Kimbo fought him, but to call a guy like Mercer a bum is crazy, in his prime he almost beat a prime Lennox Lewis, fought a close fight with Holyfield, and had the knockout of the decade when he dicapitated Tommy Morrison to win the WBO belt.

Kimbo has raw talent, time will tell if this matures into a MMA champ in some organization, but one things for sure, the man is very popular.
