thanks alot man, GREAT FIND!!!:good thats one bad ass beating! could have been worse, lucky for tank the ref was there!
i have always enjoyed watching tank. it a shame he went out like that. if he could just dedicate to training properly he mightve been absolutely awesome. he had the background. i think this fight happened about 7 or 8 yrs too late for tank though. i respect the hell out of him for like the announcer saying he went out on his shield throwing punches and got knocked stupid and i dont think he wouldve wanted it any other way
7 or 8 years ago he still would have been beaten. Im always surprised Tank has fans because he has done nothing to deserve them.
if he fought anyone like randy couture he would get banged wonder who he'll fight next for some reason i can se it being someone like eric "butterbean" esche
Agreed.Thats the one thing thats been consistent about him. His boxing technique is compact and very sound. He also couples it with some deft head movement and was easily able to slip Tanks wild counters. As long as Kimbo continues to fight guys like that he`ll continue to win. Bas fits his street style mentality quite aptly. BUT as soon as Kimbo gets into the cage with anyone who has a half good Jujitisu game the odds are quite high thats his going to get subbed quite fast.
Any chance Sean Gannon would like to give Kimbo a rematch. I bet it'd be a big payday for both. The first fight was a good one, but now that Kimbo is in much better shape I would think he'd win the rematch, but it could be interesting.
I can't wait for Kimbo to get beaten up badly! It's only a matter of time. I bet you Mike Tyson will be lured out of boxing retirement to fight Kimbo in an MMA fight. Kimbo keeps saying how it was his dream to fight Tank and Tyson; well, he fulfilled half of that dream already. If he were to ever fight Tyson, there's no way Kimbo would stand up like he did against Tank and trade punches. He would immediately try to go to the ground!
As I said a couple months ago, Kimbos punching technique and power is top notch. Kimbo really is someone to keep your eye on, his improvement is coming along nicely.
