Kimbo's achievement

As a man I actually like the guy. Seriously watch a couple of his YouTube fights. He seems like a very compassionate man. I remember the fight where he beat up his friend/ or some guy he knew, and messed up his eye real bad. In the fight the dude didn't want to fight him, and Kimbo wouldn't just jump on him, and take advantage. Then, after Kimbo finally messed him up, Kimbo hugs him at the end, and you could tell how bad he felt. He was seriously the most professional street fighter I've ever seen.
I watched him train with Goldberg (on youtube), and again he seemed very nice, and down to earth. The ring was just an act...Him not touching gloves with the opponent that KOed his ass. If the guy lost though...He lost. I don't care. he fights, you win, or you lose. My friend said "it was fixed!" I was like that'd be some funny ****! Kimbo...A guy who's making tons of publicity, and $ for your company...Not to mention it's really not that much a $ making business like boxing...Your gonna let your top draw get knocked out by a jab? Yeah...I bet.

 

Hey, the guy actually worked his ass off trying to learn MMA at an advanced age, and anyone in his position would have taken the money and gone for the ride on the media bandwagon. So no, I don't hate the guy, and give him some respect but not too much.

I do, however, hate Gary Shaw for trying to exploit MMA and drag the sport back about a decade in terms of respectability just to make a quick buck.

 

I think we haven't seen the last ...of...kimbo..

He made enuff money just to train... For 6months. Or a year...

And give it ...a go again....&...either he will show improvement...or...not..


He's always shown respect...&...never said he was the best...

Point that can't be denied...he got more people interested in the sport..
(..&..ones who are truely interested will learn the history...)

if it doesn't progress ..it dies..so more support..to the mma organizations..better shows..more money..all the way around ..growth

He just has an aura about him...&...fights to win..

Every fighter that's a legend in mma...has losses

So I hope we see kimbo again...fight...

And I'll be willin to bet...we will see him on the screen...(ala..Mr T)...
