I´m not that sold on Abraham as I used to be. He did bad in the last fight IMO. I think the fact that Pavlik is the more busy fighter will win him the fight. Abraham is no Hopkins!

There was a lot of bull**** that went on in the first Miranda fight, but that wasn't Arthur's fault. Can't see him quitting, or even taking a knee.

He didn't quit because he knew that when he would lose that title he had a problem.

KP will be his last fight at MW anyway (which is one of the reasons why he finally wants to fight him imo) so don't expect AA to fight untill he dies like in the Miranda fight.

I hope so. This fight is meaning less if both guys don't come in at their best. Would be a real shame after the wait.

I'd take that bet. You are talking about Arthur "The Turtle" Abraham. :deal

OK. You are back on my list for that one. I wish I could do video editing and post a clip. There is one point where Pavlik was playing with Rubio just ducking his punches with head movement alone. Another with upper body movement. I think Pavlik said he got hit twice in the fight. Pavlik doesn't care about the punches that don't hurt him. Well, he doesn't say he was 'hurt' by those two punches either. Did you watch some poor axed video stream or something? Pavlik picks punches off with his gloves that most people think are landing.

and on top of that...i hope both will come in at their best in their next fight as well. i have nothing against forrest, he's a seasoned ole vet and he's earned his stripes but i want aa to roll over him so arum has less of an excuse not to make this fight in the fall/winer

If the Pavlik fight is his "cookie" I don't think there is much of a chance AA doesn't do what he has to for the Forrest fight. This all seems to be part of an agreement/plan Arum/Saurland worked out when Saureland flew over. It really sounds like they came out with at least a gentleman's agreement.

What do you mean list Hermit. I am not saying Pavlik was the same, you could see he worked on his upper body movement, but when Rubio realized he was supposed to fight and threw however little it was, he WAS landing, now if he is feather fisted is a different story. My point being, AA will catch Pavlik, AA has decent accucuracy, unless he senses blood, then he swings like his life depended on it.

Pavlik will take shots that he doesn't consider meaningful. He is there to FIGHT. That doesn't mean Rubio landed at will. Far from it. Pavlik took his will in the very first round with a huge punch. Abraham was landing on Simon too. Didn't deter Simon much did it? One of us is bound to be very surprised when/if this fight happens. :yep

If this is true, you should have no problem making me a list of all the rounds you scored for Rubio, along with examples of why you scored the rounds the way you did.

    I'll wait:hey
