If Arthur looks like he did against Simon when he fights Lorenzo, I'll take KP in 5. If AA comes in against Lorenzo in fine form and takes care of business, I'll take KP in 8.

Psycho - I just hope Arthur looks good against Lorenzo. If he doesn't, he'll probably decline the Pavlik fight, and move to 168. People will immediately forget the real history, and claim KP avoided Abraham until he moved up.

It's gonna be sad and bad for him to decline the arrangements now . . . this has been in the offing for the last 12 months or so . . . the fight needs to be made otherwise Abraham should not fight at the weight class anymore . . . he can vacate his belt and go up in the next higher weight class.

that probably wouldnt be a bad idea if he looks real bad against lorenzo. smw is gonna get crowded and he wouldnt be as marketable coming off a 5 round skull dragging by pav. he would still have his precious 0. although if aa leaves then that doesnt leave pav w/ much either outside of felix and the winky/williams winner

Arthur won't do much at 168. It's hard for me to envision him getting past a Bika or Andrade type opponent.

Good points. But IMO the Winky/Williams winner is gonna be setting in good position for a BIG fight. Hope that fight is a good one, and not a Stinky Winky fest, then people will be hot on seeing Pav or AA get it on with the winner for sure.

Pav has no choice, it's not his fault . . . if AA leaves . . . Sturm and the winner of Winky/Williams is not a bad fight . . . at least the effort of unifying the titles is still there.

But AA can no longer talk of being the number 1 in the weight class. He's running away from proving his claim.

yeah i agree i don't expect much either. its just that if he looks that bad against lorenzo, i wouldnt be surprised if he would rather keep his 0 and move up rather than move up after catching an ass whippin by pav

true. what the hell is sturm's deal anyway?? he seems to be out of the conversation completely by his own choice. hell aa should fight him over here to up his profile instead of fighting lorenzo. i know that'll never happen, i just dont get what sturm is doing over there

Sturm is sitting on the title . . . but he won't last long . . . sooner or later he's gonna be forced to defend it against Pav or the winner of Winky/Williams or retire.

He's a complete description of a paper champ.

I'm pretty sure the ONLY reason AA is staying at 160 is for the Pavlik fight. If Pavlik wasn't in the frame, AA would have permenanly moved up to 168 already.

Both guys have stated multiple times that they won't leave the division without fighting each other. Pavlik can still make 160 and be strong and healthy. I've never bought into the story about AA being weight drained all this time. However, if he has as much trouble with Lorenzo as he had with Simon, I might change my position. One very important key is to keep your weight down between fights. KP never gets over about 177. What does AA blow up to?
