Although the fight itself was a bit disappointing, because Marquez prefered to quit on his stool, AA has left a very strong impression. He dominated Marquez at will and looked for another highlight reel KO. He was totally pissed when Marquez quit the fight.

Who has to be AA's next opponent?

Abraham called out both Pavlik and Sturm. Hopefully his promoter can make one of those fights happen.

Saurland and Kohl both said there is no 6 million + promotor fees to be had. Strum wants 3 million, Arthur said, he'd fight for free....Sourland said, if not in Feb or March never....wants Pavlic. Arthur broke or bruised his rib early 1-2nd round. Martinez quit...Said he hit arthur with alol he had, was getting hit very well and very hard, and quit with a minor cut....but it was to his lead eye. Wize to quit, would have gone in one or two more rounds.

pavlik will not be ready for him yet as his confidence is not there due to bhop loss,
possibly strum or kessler would be good.

He should fight Sturm. See who the best middle weight from Germany really is.

After all the interviews yesterday I have a good feeling about Abraham-Sturm. They all said this fight is hard to make but that the TV stations wouln´t be a problem, there´s pressure from the media to make that fight happen and the only thing that makes this one hard to happen is money. But since Abraham said he would fight Sturm for free ... I hope this was no empty phrase.

Yeah, that would be a huge fight in Germany and could catapult Abraham into the picture in a big way.

The Sturm who fought against Sylvester has his chances, but I still go with Arthur. You simply can't deny his punching power. There a fighters who are much better in the technical department (Sturm for example), but you hardly find one who has similiar punching power. A fight Sturm vs. Abraham would be huge, because the winner would hold two belts in his hands.

Winner of Sturm vs. Abraham (2 belts) against Kelly Pavlik (2 belts) would be a sensational fight.

Seeing how Pavlik looks to be fighting Rubio early next year then a Pavlik-Abraham fight won't happen until summer. That means Abraham will fight before the Pavlik fight. The Sturm fight makes so much sense at this point. It would be great if one of the tv networks here picked it up.

Pavlik could face the winner of the Abraham-Sturm fight in the summer of 09 in what would be a really big middleweight showdown. I'd prefer it to be Abraham because I think he and Pavlik would be a great fight. If Abraham doesn't face Sturm than the pickings are a bit slim at middleweight unless he faces Winky or someone at 168. Ultimately, I'd like to see Pavlik against the winner of a Sturm-Abraham fight. If Abraham doesn't get Sturm I'd like to see him beat one of the many ordinary contenders at middleweight and not move up or face Winky. I don't want to see a potential Pavlik-Abraham bout derailed.
