To be fair, Pavlik already beat Taylor twice who is AA's first assignement now. If Pavlik builds a legacy at 160 with a good number of title defenses, nothing wrong with it. Hagler didn't fight superstars every time either. My real question is, what about the rumors of personal problems and how well has he recovered mentally from the Hopkins loss?
Now that the middlweight fight with Abraham is screwed, best thing for Kelly now is to fight at least one notable opponent during the supermiddleweight tournament such as Sturm or P. Williams which would keep his name in the spotlight, and then go up in weight and challenge the winner of the tourney whoever it may be.
