Forget what Dirrell did against Abraham, this was 10x worse than that.

Arthur Abraham looked like a club fighter, or sparring partner.

He used to be much better. May need to go back to middleweight.

Not to take anything away from Froch - he done a great job on his part - but Abraham was ****ing lame tonight. He should be ashamed of himself for the display he put on. For the full 12 rounds, not once did he do anything meaningful.

I like the way everyone faults the person defeated rather than praising the winner!

That was a big fight for Froch and he took it without a hint of fear of Abrahams power. almost everyone had Abraham ko'ng Froch in prediction so he deserves the merit imo!

Totally agree. He didn't even try and when he did he would throw one meaningless punch and stay there. Froch was so comfortable he was doing the same thing over and over, Abraham just looked like a heavybag.

Yea, Froch just used the blueprint Andre Direll used, stick and move, Carl used his jab very well, used the ring just as well, he threw his combinations hitting whatever was available got out of range and repeated, his corner gave great feedback instructing him to not switch up his style his trainer was very adamant about that.

I don't think AA expected Froch to be as strong as he was and i also think AA expected Froch to slow down in the later rounds and Carl didn't one bit, AA's low workrate and his defensive style will get him outboxed by most good boxers, his style will only be effective against come foward bangers and fighters with stamina issues who can't withstand pressure.

I think he should contemplate going back down to 160, it doesn't look like he will be effective at 168, a fight with Ward would be a shutout as well, and Glen would be too strong and definitely outwork him IMO, whomever he faces in th semi final will give him a third lose unless he finds a different style and thats unlikely, good win fo Froch.

Abraham was awful because Froch made him look awful. It was still the same old Abraham. Froch just fought an incredible fight.

    Abraham was ****ing awful...Blah..Blah..Blah...

You guys know **** all and don't know when to give credit when it's due....

Froch was great tonight and boxed beautifully behind the jab...He also was too strong for AA....

The only reason AA looked awful was because Froch made him look that way!!

I would imagine most of you who are saying AA looked bad were the ones who picked him to win tonight....Now stop chatting **** and give Frochy the credit he deserves after this masterful performance !!

Froch was good tonight, don't get me wrong. But he was made to look better by the lame opponent before him. Abraham was as bad as ****ing Clottey back in March. You can't expect us not to factor in his shittiness when assessing this fight.

I'm actually a big Froch fan. That's not why I'm saying Abraham looked like junk. He's looked bad for the last several years, actually. Bad cardio, lower workrate. The problem for him is that the past excuse was that he was too drained from cutting to 160 lbs. If that's the case, then his career might be nearing the end. If I were Sauerland, I'd try very hard to get Arthur to go back down to 160.

Props to Froch. He fought a great fight tonight and I'm happy for him.

Froch was brilliant tonight, fair play to him. Most people didnt think he could box like that probably me included, i was a bit suprised.

I've only ever seen abraham look ordinary, just a plodder and looks like he might even lack the confidence to sling a punch out now as well

Froch vs Ward = good fight?

Let's hope so! Would give boxing fans more to look forward to than just Ward/Bute

AA: you can tell that it was CLEARLY a MENTAL problem...he clearly never got over his recent loss to dirrel. he looked as if he didn“t really care about the fight....i know (from a insider) that AA is working with a motivation trainer/psycholigist...obviously unsuccesfulyl!
