    Taylor's done!

he's been tested, molested, used and abused, this will be an edurance race he's not in shape for

That depends, I think, on how much pressure Abraham can put on Taylor. Abraham isn't exactly Mr. Workrate.

    don't sell taylor short yet

he's lost twice by brutal knockouts yet. but he had a VERY competitive loss to pavlik and was brilliant against froch, slightly less so against lacey.

when he's on point, he's one of the best in the world. he just needs to pull it all together

if the fight goes the distance taylor wins but will his stamina last .i favoured AA a while ago but am now leaning towards taylor by decision, but it is a very close call and i may change my pick again

Even if Taylor does last the distance, which I don't think he will, I can't see the judges in Germany giving a decision against Abraham if there is any argument at all for scoring any rounds for him.

It's bull**** I know but the way it seems to work on Sauerland cards.

There are many open questions concerning the two fighters, which were extensively described in different threads. I don`t want to repeat all that here. But that`s the reason, why this fight so interesting for us fans, and so difficult to predict.
I once favoured Taylor, but, contrary to most of the other posters, in the last fews weeks I changed my mind, and now I`m leaning more to Abraham.

After having reviewed many fights and interviews (esspecially the latest), I became convinced, that Abraham is mentally the stronger guy and much more determined than Taylor, and this might be the deciding factor in this fight.

Abraham won't be weight drained so he 'might' be more aggressive like he was against Marquez. But he only came forward against Marquez because he had no fear of bodily harm. Taylor WILL tag him and earn his respect. Taylor can fight as slow as AA. This could be a snoozer. I really am all over the place on how this one will go. Hence the intrigue on this one.

The Froch KO was not all that brutal. JT was center ring asking for a rematch. I think that bodes well for JT against AA. I'm hoping he isn't as 'shot' as people claim.

Abraham is gonna finish Taylor's fraudulent run as a world class contender. No gift decisions this time!

i don't get as the gift decision stuff with taylor. the only fight that i think REALLY could have gone to the other guy was Hopkins 1. In that case i gave it to taylor 7-5 but it was so close it could have gone either way.

Hopkins 2 was still very close but more clear for Taylor

Spinks was a joke of a fight but clearly Taylor

Pavlik 2 was a toss up and yet against Taylor

    Other than that, zero controversy

Taylor's weakness is that he blows his load before the tenth and has trouble going the distance. Abraham has shown that he can go the distance even when he is hurt and getting beated up. I like Taylor he is a class act which is good for boxing, but he has his work cut out for him.

In my eyes, the Froch KO possibly is the most demoralising for Taylor and his career , because so he lost a fight, that he actually couldn“t loose.

Don't forget the gift draw against Winky Wright!!!

Taylor has won ZERO fights at the world class level convincingly, and without the influence of HBO - and Hopkins' unpopularity with the boxing establishment - it is unlikely he would have gotten the nod in ANY of those fights.

That an all-time greats like Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright got screwed to build up HBOs latest hype job is nothing short of an outrage in my view. Yet another thing that's wrong with boxing.

i don't know about that. if winky wanted to win so bad he should have remembered fights are 12 rounds, not 11. in a fight that close, you have to admit it was tight, he needed to close strong. he didn't

you're right though, the hopkins wins weren't convincing and you want that kind of win when unseating an established champ (even one as unpopular with the network as hopkins). BUT the bottom line is Taylor won more rounds than B-Hop in both fights.
