Why wouldn't Warren allow a rematch? Another chance to put on a PPV bill against an opponent who Khan already looked to fairly comfortably have the measure of? Yeah, sure Warren would hate that scenario.
I just finally watched the fight last night. That was a horrible cut. Horrible shorts Khan was wearing, and horrible statement from Roach as to saying Khan is the fastest LW he has ever seen in his life. I concur that he is quick, but fastest? Roach must of forgot the fight he lost with Camacho back in the day. I would like to see the fight at N/C too. I can't remember if the doctor was wearing glasses or not, but WTF. He should have stopped the fight there and then.
On any neutral site, that fight would have been an NC. Worst cut I've seen recently, not location-wise, but as far as depth and visual impairment. That thing was gushing.
Marco Antonio Barrera is one of my favorite boxers but he lost fair and squaire. Did the cut play in to the loss? I think it did but cuts are a part of boxing. He had the chance to quit when they looked at it the first time which would have resulted in a no contest. he chose to go on. Also give Khan credit he used his speed and reach very efectivly. I can see a rematch happinging. In the near future.
When the doctor was talking to him in English, MAB was possilby telling him "no puedo vir, pendejo". Yes, he says he is okay.
i think financially a rematch would make sense, but king would have to dig deep in his pockets to make it viable.
A return bout will give all a chance to see a cleaner match. MAB was visibly limited for the duration of the fight. Interesting to read the 'feeble and fickle' words of Don '****' King. He's is the single most greedy dog on earth. A slow and painful death should be handed to him. Fancy that ***** talking about boxing integrity, via his summation. The only garantee in the sport of boxing at present, is the funeral turnout when King kicks the bucket. Thousands will turn up, just to ensure the **** is dead. Yes, a rematch is a must.
