Good news. The man has taken enough punishment. A tough and durable fighter who never ran from a challenge. Time to relax and enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Guys been through a lot of wars and has a lot of miles, no need to add more at his age. Wish him the best.

Glad to see he’s finally hanging them up. Hopefully he got enough money in the bank. He’s an old warrior but he also needs to keep his health intact and not keep letting these younger fighters beat him up.

He has been in movies and what not plus he has had a longer career than many who were champions. I hope he had a good accountant to tell him to nest a few eggs in-between fights.
The irony is that statistically athlete's that don't get the million-dollar contracts tend to manage money much better than the ones that do. I remember a few years back seeing John Molina in the same type of cars that Tim Bradley had, and John has never gotten a 7-figure payday in boxing. Not saying that he might have gotten it because of his credit but if he could make the payments, he had the money.

I really thought Bek was going to hurt him…
I’m glad he became much more cautious than normal instead.
I would hate to see a warrior like Rosado go out on his back and I’m double happy he is retiring.
I just read a book called Damage and I’m most of the way through one called Dog Rounds and I think Gabe could be a prime candidate for some of the really shitty things that can happen in boxing if he stuck around much longer…
