Richard Schaefer: "My plan is for the winner of Garcia-Judah to fight winner of Matthysse-Peterson, then the winner to fight @AmirKingKhan" Keith isn't at 140.
Usual story. Khan ahead on cards, and gets either knocked out or hurt by a few a shots and goes on the run losing rounds and eventually getting stopped. Thurman's an accurate puncher, and I can't see him letting a not-so-durable Khan survive.
Maidana vs Khan @ 147 is a 50:50 fight Thurman? I rate Maidana higher. 70:30 in Khans favour - Thurman has a punchers chance. Khan decision.
This. Khan does not hit hard enough to keep Thurman at bay, and while Thurman is not Tommy Hit-Man Hearns incarnate, he certainly hits hard enough-- and with accuracy--to find and stop Khan in the mid to later rounds.
love how the khan fans rate maidana higher than thurman at 147 where maidana looks absolute ****. if the cap fits and all
Who has Thurman beat? Maidana had 1 bad fight @ 147 against alexander due to bad training. Karass & Lopez = better than Thurmans whole resume. Thurman is fighting old men and crack addicts.
Therman is still untested. But from what i've seen i'd favour him over Khan at 147. I couldn't think of a worse style match up out there for khan right now than this guy.
'King' Khan? The guys been dethroned so many times i've lost count. If this fight happens Khan back-peddles throughout or loses to the more accurate puncher.
