All aboard the Amir Khan roller coaster! Peaks and troughs. Every so many years Khan is anointed as a special talent and the future of the sport. He then takes what is seemingly a devastating loss. Rebuilds via clever matchmaking masked by technical improvements from change of weight/trainer which generates massive amount of hype. He then takes another devastating loss. Rinse and repeat.

For what it's worth I don't dislike Amir. I just find it odd how high lots of people are on him.

O please. Mentioning him in passing doesn't count

Khan has been clamoring for a Mayweather fight

    Pacquiao fight

Even recently seemed quite serious about wanting a Cotto fight

But I haven't seen him put out any serious statements that he wants Thurman

If he did, the fight probably would have happened by now instead of Devon Alexander or will happen next.

    Khan doesn't want Thurman.

    I don't blame him either

High risk not really a high reward
