King Khanned: Shattered A Story Of A Mere Con-Khanfessions of A Dangerously Glassy Jaw..

Amir Iqbal Khan is a 5'8.5 28 year old Welterweight with a 30-3 19 KO's 2 KO losses. Born and raised in Bolton, Lancashire, United Kingdom. Goes by the moniker "King Khan".


Of all of the things I find most perplexing in the world one of the strangest things that to me is almost beyond comprehension, because it defies logic is the intense fervor bordering on rabidity of Amir Khan's fanbase. The intense devotion to him and his "magical" skills to me is pretty befuddling. Does he have very fast hands? Yes. Is he a good combination puncher? Yes. Does he have Glassiest Glass Jaw of any well known fighter? Yes. And that little fact seems to always be lost on all of his devout followers. No matter how good he may be that one little thing will always and I mean always keep him from being a great. He's packing some of the finest most delicately ultra thin China known to man in his wittle chinny chin chin.:!:

But, But, But skills pay the bills, well that very well may be true, but let's look if he's as skilled as everybody thinks he is. Where did his magical skillset disappear to against the crude Maidana because if you take away the KD in the first round (Marquez fans do this all the time) and the elbow in round 5, Maidana beats him on points, that's a fact you all must deal with. Not to mention the whole Khan could barely stand up for the last 3 rounds thing.

And as much as everyone wants to convince themselves otherwise Lamont Peterson while not outright beating Khan, that match was easily a draw, the KD in round 1 was questionable giving Khan a 2 point round, Lamont while maybe on testosterone didn't win because of his strength it was because he outboxed Khan for the last half of the fight, he figured Amir out and was able get in his face and work his body and beat him down for quite a few of the later rounds, Lamont made the amazing skills of Amir look average at best..

Well He was beating Danny on points for a few rounds before getting KTFO, Right? So what Herrera beat him 9-3 and Zab and Ancient El Terrible snatched quite a few themselves, Danny ain't no master boxer. So that's nothing to brag about, but Danny did KHTFO and it counts so face the facts, Danny beat him no matter which way you cut it, Danny won.

Now let's take a look at his most recent wins Alexander, well he's been outboxed by the ultra crude Porter, he was outboxed by and then got a gift against Matthysse, and Tim Bradley beat the hell and headbutted the hell out of him as well. Decent win but nothing near spectacular. What the about the big win over Luis Collazo:rofl Well Collazo kind of lucked out by having Victor Ortiz do a chin first swan dive into his fist and then quit because he couldn't believe he got dropped by such a featherfist, Collazo was not a great win, it was an average at best, certainly nothing to brag about. Julio Diaz what a great win that was Khan, he handed the indomitable Diaz his eighth loss and he couldn't even KO him, because he was too scared to go for the KO:deal due to Julio dropping him and all. Carlos Molina so what it was the Light Welter one not the Light Middle.

But also let's looks at some old wins shall we. He stopped Judah on a faked nutshot he was trying to milk. And Malignaggi he actually found someone more featherfisted than he was to walk through, and lucked out by getting Paulie coming off of losses in 2 of his last 4 matches one by brutal beatdown by Hatton. So decent win but nothing that great. Barrera was a shell of Barrera so....no big deal.


Now based off of this average to mediocre record people think he actually has a chance to beat the P4P top fighters in the world, you guys really crack me up. I'm not even a Mayweather fan, Floyd would counter his flurries all night with ease and score a late round Hatton like KO. Manny would do what Manny does best steamroll Amir and KO him in 6 with ease, as far as Cotto at MW goes, while I don't like him either, he would beat the hell out of Khan, Marquez KO's him with a smashing pee fueled brutal counter, and why does he deserve a match with the best when he hasn't even beaten any top contenders yet. Let's see him at least beat Thurman, beat Porter, beat Guerrero, and most importantly the man he fears the most Special K Kell Brook, but Khan is too busy running for his life all the while flapping his jaws with his ostentatious delusions of grandeur about how he's one of the best there is. Who even wants to see him, he's not a draw in the States, PPV numbers would be paltry, yet he acts like he's some kind of megastar Khan is the epitome of a hypejob now bear witness to his mediocrity.
