Deontay has been underestimated. His string of wins over Stiverne, Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola in his last 6 is also underestimated. Ortiz has Jennings, Thompson & Scott wins recently. Both undefeated both ko artists.
This is thee heavyweight fight right now.

I pick Deontay Bomb Squad Wilder in a UD over Ortiz.

Ortiz isn't a pressure fighter, he doesn't have more than a puncher's chance. He's a foil, a boogyman, that's why he's being propped up. And he's already fighting old. When he gets hit he got moved around by both Dave Allen and Malik Scott. Wilder only needs to fight disciplined and he has this in the bag, Wilder by ko.

Old man King Kong showed some real nice skills against the young Jennings. I think this goes the distance with both being extremely careful but I could be wrong. Wilder is getting better and along with the string of good opposition recently he also had Povetkin lined up. Deontay aint no joke. This guy is seriously under rated.

Ortiz would smash that fragile mandible Wilder's been hiding into a million pieces. I wouldn't want to be a ringsider for this - that glass shards would be flying all over the place!:clapclap:

Ortiz's work rate is going to do him in which is starting to resemble an old boxer. He depends more on his power than anybody. His jab has been missing too lately, he can't possibly win without that to close distance.

Well....if he caughjt Deontay with an uppercut like he did Jennings I admit.....it would be Houston we have a problem time for Deontay....I still think Deontay is way under rated. Especially for a belt holder who has a nice string of wins and was in Russia to fight Povetkin. Ortiz aint no joke either. This war goes to the judges with Deontay getting the UD.....

Wilder would resemble a heap of St Louis spareribs when Ortiz catches him decent

I reckon Ortiz would put a stop to Wilder's nonsense once and for all.

Clearly idiotic. If Ortiz catches Wlad, Joshua, Fury with his best punch they would be knocked out as well.

Ortiz is known online as the guy nobody wants to face. That would suprise a lot of people if Wilder offers him a shot. It would get Wilders haters of his back and stick the chests out of Wilders fans. This fight would pay well for Wilder and will undoubtedly be his toughest fight.

Dangerous fight for Wilder, one good body shot or head shot and Ortiz could rip that title out of his hands and Ortiz would be the most dangerous opponent he's fought by far.

But for all Wilder's flaws he matches up well from a style perspective. The china chinned, heart of glass Malik Scott made Ortiz look bad with movement. Wilder has shown he can box from range when needed, but unlike Scott, he has height and reach and more importantly the power to ensure Ortiz can't just walk in like with Scott. I'd favour Wilder to win a decision.

Wilder is a little underrated. He clearly is one of the best in the division despite being heavily protected from any threat whatsoever. He seems to have a tendency to fight to the level of his opponent. When in with a perceived threat like Stiverne or Arreola he has boxed well and stuck to the plan to box and move and not made the kind of wild flailing mistakes he does when facing lesser opposition.
