Beside chin, is ggg better than Tszyu in these categories:
    Resume
    Punching power
    Defense
    Ring cutting
    Overall boxing skills?

Personally I enjoy watching Tszyu more than GGG.

Resume is a better with Tszyu, other than that GGG is better in all components.

The problem with GGG is that he chose the style to entertain public and to be more fan friendly, although it is not his natural style.

They're pretty similar in most areas. GGG's the harder puncher, while Tszyu was the better, overall more skillful boxer. He could box on the outside much better than GGG. GGG's style depends on cutting off the ring, but Tszyu was actually better at it. He would really line guys up and land with accuracy as he cut off the ring, he didn't just back them up then land. Defence to Tszyu. They both got hit more than they needed to, but Tszyu when he was on was more evasive with his upper body, while GGG isn't focused on defence, is more determined to attack, and primarily uses his really good footwork as defence.

Before Golovkin's recent step up in class with Brook, Jacobs, and Canelo I would say his resume didn't remotely compare to Tszyu's, with Ruelas, Hurtado, Gonzalez, Mitchell, Judah, and Hatton all better than anyone on GGG's record. I still now give the slight edge to Tszyu. Keep in mind Ruelas, Hurtado, and Gonzalez were top light welters, while Mitchell, Judah, and Hatton were not only that but fringe p4p guys.

The same was as much true for Tszyu. He was known as a great boxer in the amateurs and when he turned pro, then he neglected his skill and defence as he fell in love with his power, till he lost to Phillips. Then he went back to boxing and had some great boxing performances in his late career, after he beat Judah. I still think Hatton's win over him is overrated, Tszyu was sharp and clearly winning early and Hatton got away with a lot of holding and mugging. Tszyu was a distinguished champ, but his ability could've made for a greater, more dominant career.

Both very good fighters, both overrated as heck in their day.

Golovkin is better than Tszyu, especially in terms of intangibles...stamina, chin, and heart.

Tszyu was an excellent fighter... but also a front runner.

Tszyu didn't leave it up to the judges when he fought Mexicans.

KT stance allowed him to develop very powerful short range punches, but that stance also kept him open, so his defense becomes weaker, that is why 2 volume punchers got their way vs KT...Not necessary chin/stamina issue more than a hole in the defense that determined Volume Punchers were able to exploit best.

Kostya is more skillfull and faster. Check out his performance in beating Forest in the amateur. Also some of his early professional fight.

One thing is for certain GGG has more heart, I could never see him quitting on his stool.
Also GGG would never get stopped by a bum like Vince Phillips.
