Mousasi did well off his back but he gassed. He stands up with contempt but doesn't have the sprawl to back it up. His takedown defence was really disappointing. When he gassed his knees went straight, his balance was ****ed and he became wild and sloppy. All credit to Mo for gassing but digging deep, finding a second win and keep pushing.
Another case of a world class wrestler beating a world class striker. History doesn't change, it repeats itself.
Mousasi definately lost, but they need to change the way they score inactive top control. I think if u hit a takedown and don't do much with it, it should be scored like a single effective strike or reversal into a better position, say side control - thats it. Having it this way encourages l&p too much.
It's all opinion about how effective, hard, important etc each move is. It all depends on what impression you leave on the judges.
Mousasi thought he was being handed a gimme. I really dont understand what his gameplan was in that fight. It almost looked fixed to me. He allowed himself to get taken down. His sub D was non-existent. Even when in guard he wasnt doing much other than those up kicks. His attitude was sooo nonchalant and disinterested. Mo will be back but he kind of reminds me of CC. He really has to get up for an opponent otherwise we end up with results like these which are horribly inconsistent.
How so mate?? The word WANKER is a negetive reference about one's personality.Nothing less nothing more. Im not talking about Mo's fighting ability.I just dislike him as a person. Although i can only go off what i see on t.v/net etc.
