really? did dana put the company up in a bet or something?OH NO! A former heavyweight champion knocked out Randy with 4oz gloves, didn't see that happening in a million years!
Randy is going to be favored because he's a seasoned MMA vet but if he gets hit, it'l be bad for him. His chin was blasted apart years ago. I expect him to win by taking Toney down and putting him on his back like a turtle and smashing his face, not by trading.

We'll see. If you think it's impossible with a man with lethal hands (compared to MMA fighters) to catch an old Randy C, I beg to differ.

Nevermind Beeb,s Flexb. He is a hardcore MMA fan...he probably chooses to wrestle with his girlfriend rather than make love to her.

I'm not so sure how Legit of a HW he is, yea he was champ but once a bigger guy got ahold of him he has always lost. Barnett, Rodriguez and Lesnar. As for an all-time great I'm not so sure about that either. He is 18-10 and hasn't had more then a 4 fight win streak his whole career. I am a fan of Randys but do think people overrate him abit.

I think people admire him so much because what he has accomplished at an advanced age. The guy won't be too far from 50 going into this fight at that age and Randy's questionable chin it wouldn't take much of a punch from Toney to stun Randy and finish him off. Randy is a smart guy but I hope he doesn't get careless because James still has fast hands that randy hasn't had to deal with and at his age getting old over night is a possibility.

Yes, me and every single bookmaker in the world are gay because James Toney stands no chance in ****ing hell.

Bodogs line right now is Couture -575; they must be homosexuals.

If Toney is truly in shape and has given his preparation a 100% sustained effort and he is not in fact punch drunk as he has appeared a bit over the past few years, then I guess he would have a modest chance to stun and finish couture. But IMO that's a lot of ifs for toney who has a history of laziness, a lack of explosivenes, a lack of power at hw, and a lack of mma experience prior to age 40. Plus i'm sure randy's going to be motivated not to embarass himself. So i think it should be an easy night for rc

If there is one man who can learn the ground game in a couple of months it's Toney....
I heard from various people on this site how he was a great wrestler in highschool...

It's good to hear that he is sparring top guys. King Mo is a light heavyweight tho.

I think Randy is incredibly suspect to the chin and speed. If Toney can punch fast, hard and explosively then I wouldn't be suprised if he hurt Randy.

Dana would like Toney to win....he wants to get rid of Randy and the next fight with Toney could make Dana even more money...plus he'd like to bring in more big name boxers and a Toney win could help that to happen....

So......b/c Randy lost to a HW who was bigger he's not legit?:huh You do realize that Randy has lost at HW LOOOOOONG before Brock right? Randy faces TOP guys...you win and you lose at this level. But his track record speaks of itself.

Randy for the most part puts himself against TOP level guys and it's a situation where you win and you lose and EVERYONE at this level wins and loses. Mir beat Brock, he came back and won. But he still lost...Rodriguez, Barnett and others have lost.

Randy isn't over rated at all. He's a legend in the sport and he's one that has proven his greatness by whom he faces and how he wins.

Randys wrestling was great against Lesnar. I still think even now Couture is one of the few guys with a live chance against Brock. In fact I think he sort of wrote a mini-blueprint on him. The problem is noone else in the heavyweight division has the greco skills and overall clinch game of Couture. But Rndy was well on the way to wearing him out with his dirty boxing it seemed.

    Randy (prime) versus Rampage
    Randy (prime) versus Hendo
    Randy " " versus Lindland

would all have been interesting matches....maybe not the most exciting but interesting none the less...
