If he lays around on Werdum he is getting subbed for sure. I don't see them making this fight though. He should be defending his title at LH. If he clears his division then maybe he could try for a title in another weight class.

Fabricio is a big guy and King Mo is good but he ain't that good. He would get subbed if could take Werdum down.

Where are you getting these quotes from Steve? Last time I checked, Mo denied this all on twitter.

"I would never fight Werdum!!! He is family and my boy... I repeat, I would not fight Fabricio Werdum!!!!! Someone told me a few websites said I would. Guess what!! They are wrong." -King Mo

This is what I've read as well. I've also read that Mo wants to try his hand at boxing this year. Not a great idea imo considering he's not even a striker in MMA.

It's interesting in a "I wonder how it would turn out" sort of way, not in a "that's an exciting fight sort of way"

I would bet on Werdum by sub, he is still so underrated it's criminal, but King Mo and Werdum have styles that will combine to make that sub look pretty slick, if it was a 3 round fight Mo would have a real chance.

Werdum could also TKO him, he is a big strong dude who trains at Chute Boxe; people seem to forget that. He has nasty knees standing, and is a downright mean ******* on top.

Obviously you are right, but Forrest Griffin did say "I hope not" in response to being asked if he was going to fight Jon Jones next.

That's just Forrest's personality though, your point is dead on.

why do people assume MO is a LNP fighter just from ONE freakin fight?? are we forgetting what he did to all of his other opponents?? sheesh, the things people say after one fight.

Yeah you never know these days with so many news sites, message boards, youtube, and twitter giving rise to rumors. Like how many times a week does a legit source report that Paul Daley's signed by SF or Bellator only to have it refuted hours later?

You dont think werdum could k.o king mo? A good sized heavy like werdum with decent gnp could defo tko him! And beebs is right since being with chute box his knees in the clinch are good and mo is a fair bit shorter than werdum!
