Lewis doesn't need this and his legacy is cemented.
Klitschko would stop him if they fought today anyways.

Lennox Lewis is GREAT!!! I hope to Jesus that he isn't broke or hurting for cash..... You know, he made MILLIONS from boxing... I hear L.L. has or had some "Legal" issues going on over in England.. I have NO clue what the hell for..... However, at age 43, coming back to fight a "K" Brother in 2009 would be crazy and insane......

I like both Klits, but they are not beter than Lennox, and nobody is ever going to come to that conclusion, since Lewis beat one of them and would almost certainly have beaten the other.

Vitali would have knocked Lewis out in the 7th round, even known Klitschko hate Max Kellerman said that and he was sitting right behind Lewis' corner. Vitali broke Lewis' nose. Angelo Dundee said that Vitali was cheated out of a win that night. Since Vitali beat the hater's hero Peter, they will be claiming than anyone can beat Vitali and Vlad, but that's not happening. Haye is not their top hero, but Haye will be lucky to get by Barrett whom Vlad stopped.

An unmoitvated, ageing and out of shape Lennox Lewis beat a prime Vitali once already, busted up Vitali's face, thats a fact, none of this "would have" bull****.

    That is not so.

Ross Puritty has beaten Wladimir Klitschko and nobody claims that Ross is better than Wlad. Add to it the fight was stopped by a freaking wound and you have a far less clear picture that you claim here.

And even _IF_ you conclude that Lennox is a stronger fighter than Vitali (= that he is able to beat Vitali more often than Vitali is able to beat him) then nevertheless the WHOLE CAREER record might be better than Lewis'. For example Vitali has a much higher KO ratio than Lewis.

Id love to see a rematch.

Of course, it would have been better 4 years ago.

Again, I re-state that I like the Klits ans wish them well, but Vitali's competition is not in the same ballpark, leaugue, state, continent or even hemisphere as Lennox's. And the idea that a head to head match up between the two, which Lennox won, will not be looked at as the ulitmate determiner is ridiculous.

Vitali has dominated his opponents in a way the heavyweight division has never seen before imo. Maybe his competition hasn't been too good; but his dominance is unbelieveable.

    Accept for the two losses.

Butterbean dominates his opponents too. The quality of competetion counts.

Jack Dempsey breaking Jess WIllard's ribs. Joe Luis fraturing Schemeling's vertebrae. Sonny Lison knocking out a world champion in one round twice. Tyson knocking down Trevor Berbick three times with one punch. What exactly was it that Vitaly did that was better than these things?
