And I hope he gets it, and if he wins, then it will add something to his legacy.

But it will on no way prove that he is the better man. Lewis is 43 years old ans will have to come down from 300 pounds. If this happens, and this is a huge if, then it is for Vitaly's peace of mind, and a small boost to his legacy.

He just does not have the body of work to be put alonside Lennox.

I'd take it. 25 mil, and we all know Lennox is probably shot. History will be kind to Lennox, win or lose. Vitali is still bitter over that stoppage lol...and I like Vitali lol.

If I was Lewis, I would take it.

    Why?

    Because;

    1. It is a LOT of money. His children, granchildren, gran gran children can live off of this money for centuries. He is already rich, but this kind of money would surely make the family fortune reach a lot of years further into the future.

    2. Foreman and several others have regained a belt at an older age than Lewis.

    ______________

Conclusion. I would do it IF I could get physically back to shape. The main reason NOT to do it would be because I would have to fight Vitaly and he did look somewhat intomidating coming back in that kind of shape. But it still is a lot of money and if I was Lewis I would still have a chance although it would be difficult no matter what age I would have to face Vitaly at. It would be a big and great fight though.

    This is wrong.

Moreover name 1 opponent of Lewis of whom Vitali couldn't beat. I mean try it. Do you think Vitali couldn't beat Tua or Tyson?

Now if you admit that Vitali is capable of beating all the opponents that Lennox beat, you admit that Vitali plays in the same league like Lennox.

In the 2 losses, Vitali won almost every single round vs top 5 HW Chris Byrd. And vs top 5 atg HW Lennox Lewis, Vitali won 4/6 rounds before cut forced stoppage.

35/36 wins KO's. That's just as good as wat u mentioned IMO. Only non KO was a 120-108 UD.

Very. All heavyweights have an off night. Vitali NEVER did.

It dosn'tmatter that he "could" beat them. He has to seek the fighters out and do it. The truth is, no matter how much you like him, we don't know who he could and could not beat since he had never attempted to beat the best.

That is why they fight the fights.

And I repeart no, he does not play in that ball park.

A loss is a loss. This is just rationalization. I don't blame him for either loss, b the fact remains, he didn't beat his two best opponents. Almost winning is not the same as winning.

Cant see Lewis entertaining this idea for a second, he was already losing it when he beat Vitali the first time, why again? no reason

The bigger problem is the KO rating. We all know that a wound that stops the fight is not the same as a valid KD. They should really change the classification from KO to INJ or INJ-KO

They aren't going to change the classification retroactively so that Vitaly Klitscho can be remembered as great, and if they did that, then you would have thousands of cases every year in which guys fake injuries to get out of getting KO'd.

Your absolutely right. However, I'm talking talent wise. A lot of people degrade vitali's talent because his competition hasn't been good. His performances vs kirk johnson, corrie sanders, ATG lennox lewis, and top HW chris byrd proved his talent vs solid HWs.
