Who the fans think is winning has ZERO relevance when it comes to whether a fight should be stopped.

What Vitali could do after the fight is over is also irrelevant.

I didn't say he couldn't see in a straight line to cry about the stoppage. He couldn't see to the side - the very side where Lennox's money-punch would be coming from, and indeed WAS coming from, repeatedly, to make the cut as bad as it was.

If the doctor was biased, he wouldn't have let the fight go beyond the 3rd round. He let it go far longer than most would have.

What does a female prisoner being pardoned due to good behavior and an otherwise clean record have to do with a man with a history of violence who was UPgraded to Maximum security due to bad behavior?

    That proves nothing.

Its not vaseline in his eyelid, the fight footage is particularly clear on this matter.

    It's actually around 40.

Either way, the story was reported by The Sun newspaper therefore it is almost guaranteed to be bull****.

Didn't read the article, but saw the fight numerous times, and I've been watching boxing for well over 30 years. And anyone who things that fight should have continued either doesn't know boxing or wishes VK ill will. Like I've said I've been watching boxing since I was a kid, and I'm 45 now and I can't think of any fighter who had a worse cut than V.K. and in fact he had multiple cuts, minimum 3-4 one of which was on his lip forcing him to swallow quite a bit of blood. If anything that stoppage was 2-3 rounds later than it should have been.

Yes but while you where watching tv I was getting educated and thus realize that they did more damage to each others brains than any boxing cut could ever do. He could see clearly and there is no evidence that he had no peripheral vision. Blood was not in the eye, the retina nor the eye itself was affected and no arteries where cut.

He probably thought Lennox would eventually take advantage of Vitali's so called lack of peripheral vision but when that didnt work he and Sulaiman stopped it

Actually I just gave more evidence that with the power in the hands of politicians anything is possible

The wadding absorbs the blood and then more than likely taken back out so vaseline can be pushed into the cut but after the fight was over there was no need to take the wadding out.

Why not add another 10 mil and coax Ali out of retirement?

Vitali would love to fight Lewis again, he has been trying to get Lewis back into the ring for years now.

Thanks to Vitali's recent win over Peter and regaining of a HW title belt, of course, it's made Lewis's win over him even more valuable than before. Despite being at his oldest, heaviest and rustiest he was able to inflict more damage on Vitali than anyone else in Vitali's whole career so far...definitely a boost for Lewis.

As for this King offer? Since when has Lewis ever danced to King's tune?

I agree, but my point is that there was so much wadding in there that the cutsman couldn't possibly have patched him up in time for him to come out and face Lewis for the next round. Therefore, I think that the cutsman knew the fight was over, whether Vit did is another matter. Re-watch the fight, its pretty plain to see.

You are obviously watching the wrong video. When Vit was sat on his stool after round 6 he had half a bog roll stuffed in his face, it was so over you could hear the car being started in the car park...if you don't want to accept that, fine.
