Nonito. Not impressed with Agbeko.

 

I don't see how anyone isn't impressed with Agbeko because he shows solid boxing fundamentals, but I think that Nonito is smart and tallented enough to beat him.

You can't be a chump and beat Darchinyan.

 

Agbeko at bantamweight is what Joshua Clottey to the welterweights, a tough, skilled son of a gun who's VERY hard to beat. Don't forget Darchinyan's power could do little as King Kong is a physically very stong BW like other fighters from Ghana, so it takes more than Nonitos power punches (which works well at FLYWEIGHT) to beat Joseph. But this is bantamweight, a whole different territory as Darchinyan had to learn it painfully. The anti-Agbeko weapon would be something like the quick slick punching by Hozumi Hasegawa, the Japanese SOB who scored yet another super impressive 1st round knockout just an hour ago:

Donaire's speed and frame both indicate that he could probably be successful at 118. However, I would be more confident in picking Hasegawa over Agbeko right now.

Donaire, I like Agbeko but I think Donaire is a bit more fundamentally sound

 

Donaire has been fighting at 115 before..his frame would allow him to adjust at 118 imo. More precise punches, and good ring generalship.. Agbeko looks hard to hit, he keeps moving his head. but i dont think he's fast enough. Donaire by UD
