He didn't pluck Lopez out of obscurity, Lopez had the belt he wanted. Loma was unified and a step above but Lopez had made a good case for himself.

I've said this time and time again and no one has been able to refute it. The idea that Loma did nothing for 6 rounds is ****ing stupid. Granted he didn't throw volume as usual and Loma clarifies this as he didn't want to exacerbate his injury in the first 6 rounds. Regardless, Loma landed the better cleaner shots in round 2 and 6, Lopez on the other hand was winning the round by what jabs to Lomas body while he was retreating, punching Lomas gloves and elbows? Punching air. The uppercut right hand, which both miss in round 6 is the only way you can score round 6 to Lopez. Biased af commentary as well. Yes there are other criteria than punches landed, but landing punches is the priority and that's what Loma did more of in rounds 2 and 6.

And Loma did nothing? Lopez landed 2-4 jabs-right hands to the body in round 1 (and whilst Loma was retreating). Lopez repeated this in rounds 3 and 4 also with maybe a scuff hook or two to the body . Following Loma around, not cutting off the ring with effective aggression, landing **** all. If you're gonna cite compubox please walk in traffic

Ridiculous this whole forum need to watch it back. Pathetic that Lopez won't give Loma the rematch, you can clearly see he is doing it for one reason, and it's not to spite Loma, it's because he knows that rematch won't go th same way. Now he is gonna take this dodgy win and hold onto the belts for as long as he can fighting scrubs.

    While I agree with you,

it is possible for Ryan to clip loma like Linares did.

he is a really little guy.

Loma threw more punches in round 7 than the first 6 combined! End of story. As far as Loma using his arm as an excuse......PLEASE! I don't believe it for a second. I could see if he was throwing in the first part of the fight and suddenly stopped, but that wasn't the case. Loma lost straight up due to his abysmal punch count the first part of the fight. No doubt, he did land the harder shots, but nothing even close to turning the fight in his favor. A rematch is definitely needed. Come on Teo, Antonio Tarver Loma I'm the rematch ala Roy Jones.

I should have expected a post like this from someone called brain damage...

End of story? There's no end of story about it, you've clearly watched the fight without a careful eye. Again you haven't actually addressed any of the points I made.. Which were Loma objectively outlands Lopez in rounds 2 and 6 with better cleaner shots (punches with the inside glove, and punches to gloves an arms aren't clean punching BTW).. And that Lopez was landing f all himself in rounds 1-6 a part from 2-4 jabs/right hand to the body whilst Loma was retreating. The odd 1 or 2 scuff hooks occasionally landing to the body.

Lopez landed next to zero headshots on Loma until the 12th round and that's testament to Lomas defensive ability.. Despite weight bully Lopez, who looked a good 10-20lbs more than Loma fight night, following Loma around all night, he landed f all to the head.

And you don't believe Loma's injury simply because you don't want to believe it. Loma does not come across the type of guy who would lie about **** like this (Lopez on the other hand..), and the fact there is evidence of surgery right after the fight makes me believe that " low volume" from Loma in the first 6 rounds was due to the worry of having to fight 10-12 rounds with one arm.

Loma doesn't get any credit at all, he's a tiny guy actually fighting above his weight class (unlike bums like Lopez/Tank, Garcia). Guys like Lopez will never dare go above their natural weight class. Loma did, had an pre existing injury and still deserved at least a draw.

I give Loma credit for being a damn good fighter. That has never been a question. He has done some impressive things in a very short period of time. I have aways appreciated small guys taking on the bigger opponent. Even with all that, Loma lost to Teo. Your revisionist history will not change my mind. I give credit to Teo for being the aggressor, causing Loma to fight completely different than normal. That's why I want a rematch. Loma with 2 good shoulders. After he gets beat a second time, we'll find out he had a bad knee due to all that ballet in his youth.

Sure....but Ryan Garcia is no big guy either. He's hollow boned, has a pencil neck and tiny head.

He needs to start eating the Mexican beef ASAP.

Revisionist history... OK yet you are unable to address what I've said.. What you've said is literally equivalent to saying " ner ner I'm right" and then putting your fingers in your ears.. No analysis whatsoever just belief and minimal objectivity
