Spring, a feather-fisted southpaw and central Pennsylvania native, fought to a 6-round draw with Brooklyn transplant and fellow light puncher (both have scored just one professional KO apiece) "Thunder" Robinson, two years ago.

Commentators have Robinson up after two. Ugly fight, particularly due to Spring. He is a crossover from kickboxing, they say, which explains his awkward style.

If this is scored fairly, it should be close to a shutout for Robinson. Watch it be the opposite though.

edit: whoa, spoke too soon, he gets ruled as knocked down with half a minute left in the sixth. Have to see a replay of that, questionable..

Replay shows a Spring uppercut on the chin, then a jab on the body as he twists away from Robinson's counter. They slam together against the ropes, and Robinson throws a big left hook, spins himself around so his back is to Spring, and falls down as Spring punches him in the shoulder blade.

Ref shouldn't have counted for that.

Knockdown ruling didn't even have an impact on the outcome.

Sosa dropped heavily by a counter right hook moments after the opening bell!

    Might not survive the 1st.

Jules somehow couldn't fully shatter the boricua glass despite having nothing but dominant 10-8 rounds (with or without a knockdown) all the way through.

I really like the way Aleem doubles up the left hook. The first one lands, and he feints as though he's about to fire a check jab to re-gauge distance and set up a straight power shot with the rear hand but instead just pulls the jab & smoothly turns over another hook in one quick, sneaky, fluid motion.
